My role in this project was Project Manager and Agency Liasion. I worked closely with our agency overseeing the development of the content and technical specs of this project. I also oversaw the content creation - editing copy and scripts, assisting with a photo shoot and preparing our "talent" for their video pieces.

PRSA Silver Spike - Renown Advocacy Site
I was part of a team that developed a site used during the state senate's 2007 session. The site was used as a portal for Renown leaders to contact the State Represenatives on relevant healthcare issues in a short amount of time. My role was as a support person for the main leads of the team.

PRSA Award of Excellence - Renown eNews
As part of my position as Web Content Specialist, I developed an online newsletter that is sent out quarterly to business leaders in the community. I manage the design, master contact list, edit the content, and report the traffic.

Cinvegas Film Festival - Youth
In 2000 I won 2nd Place in the CineVegas Youth Film Competition. Julie Morrison, co-producer, and I created a short digital film documenting life in Elko County.

Recognition

Governor's Award for the Arts - In 2001 I was nominated for the Governor's Award for the Arts for my work with the Voices of Youth program at the Western Folklife Center.

Voices of Youth - I was chosen to be a member of the Voices of Youth program twice (1999 and 2000). You can read more about this experience here.
